Shayad Song Is Melodious But Kartik’s On-Screen Emotional Display Has A Question Mark!
Sara and Kartik’s Love Aaj Kal is one of the awaited films as both the actors have a fair amount of fan following and their pairing is adored. After making fans excited with the trailer, the first song of the movie is out and features Sara, Kartik, and debutante Arushi Sharma. The magical voice of Arijit is mesmerizing but in the video, Kartik’s expressions look unnatural.
The song features two love stories simultaneously. One of them is set in 1990 and the other in 2020. In both the stories, Kartik plays a love-struck lad who is unable to express his feeling for his lady love. The track will surely hit the right chord with people who struggle to express their feeling of affection. Not only for shy guys, but the song is for everyone.
The lyrics of this song ‘Shayad’ are penned by Irshad Kamil. Sara looks gorgeous in the role of a modern independent girl, while Arushi too looks pretty as a girl of the 90s era. Kartik’s attires are on point but the weak string is his expressions. He is blatantly trying too hard to blend with the lyrics of the song which is seen in the video. Having said that, the overall song is not a markdown. Thanks to the awesome lyrics and pleasing singer’s voice.
