The 1st test match out of the 5 India vs England test match has finally finished and it has resulted in something that no one was or might be expecting. We will get to the result and possible reasons for what happened on the 4th day of the test match in the following blog.
Well everyone knows it, India lost. Yes!! Many too must be in shock while watching the highlights of the match. India lost the match by a whopping 31 runs when there were not more than 194 runs required to win the match.
Many fans after seeing India lose first the ODI series and now the first test match certainly would angry at team India. It seems like other than Kohli there is just no one who can face the old British bowlers Anderson and Broad.
Let’s see what happened during the whole test match. In the first innings, England won the toss and decided to bat first. they scored 287 and got all out. In came India and due to Virat Kohli’s fabulous 149 India were able to reach 274. Then came England again on the 3rd day and were bowled out for just 180. That was it. The fans and everyone must have thought just that.
But the England bowlers had something else in their minds. They bowled out India at just 162 winning the first out of the 5 match series. This certainly was not a typical Indian batting. If compared properly it is K.L. Rahul who has scored no runs after scoring that hundred in the 1st T-20.
Other than captain Kohli and the bowlers the other batsmen and the mighty all-rounder Hardik Pandya all failed to perform in the test match. This just makes me realize one thing. Where is Jadeja? isn’t Jadeja supposed to be the part of the test team and even after performing well the selectors are not paying attention.
We should just hope that the 2nd India vs England test match will open India’s win account in this test series.
