Recently, there have been many mobile phone explosions. These explosions may be small, but can still be quite dangerous. That is why it is imperative that we prevent mobile phone explosions. Here are some of the steps we can take in order to save our smartphones.
Do not charge for long hours:
It is observed in the case of most smartphone explosions that it was caused due to extended periods of charging. Avoid overcharging. Do not leave the phone to charge overnight. Unplug as soon as it is fully charged.
Do not cover the phone while charging:
Covering your phone while charging leads to the blockage of heat outlets. Overheating eventually leads to an explosion.
Avoid games and videos while charging:
Playing games or watching movies drains the battery. It increases battery temperature and could lead to explosions.
Avoid using earphones while charging:
Listening to music while charging can lead to quite high temperatures and should be avoided to prevent mobile phone explosions.
Disconnect charger while taking calls:
Taking calls while charging can cause the phone to explode near your ears and eyes. That would not be pretty.
Do not use extension cords for charging:
Avoid using extension cords and power strips. That is because if one device on the strip is affected, it will damage your phone as well.
Avoid direct sunlight while charging:
Exposure to direct sunlight or other heat sources worsens the factor of overheating. The ideal temperature is 0 to 45 degrees.
Remove the phone case when charging:
Removing the case will allow for better heat circulation and hence reduce the chances of overheating and explosions.
