Oppo has recently been launching really great smartphones. One sub-brand of it has also evolved into an independent brand. I guess you all know what we are talking about: Realme. Oppo has unveiled the Oppo K1 smartphone in China. Let’s see the specs on it.
Specifications
- It features a 6.4-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
- It has a notch.
- It has snapdragon 660 running in it
- It runs on color Os 5.2 and has the android oreo 8.1 in it.
- It comes in two Ram variants: 4Gb Ram + 64 Gb storage and 6Gb Ram + 64 Gb storage.
- It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a face unlock.
- The phone has a dual rear camera setup of 16 + 2 megapixels along with a front facing camera of 25 megapixels.
- It has a 3D glass back.
- It has a battery of 3600Mah.
Price
The 4Gb Ram variant will be priced at Rs 17,100 and the 6Gb one will be approximately Rs 19000 as the phone will be a budget mobile competing with smartphones below 20k range.
Release date
It will go on sale in its home country China starting 19th October. In India the phone has no specified release date as of now. If news comes we will be the first to inform you.
Opinion
The Vivo V11 pro was the first smartphone with an indisplay fingerprint sensor. This Oppo k1 not only has the same feature but also the same processor in the Vivo V11 pro i.e. snapdragon 660SoC. Other features might be different. For eg Vivo V11 pro might be having a better camera than the Oppo k1.
Still getting the almost same features with a reckoned brand Oppo is pretty good. Oppo very rarely makes budget smartphones but whenever they do, they just kill it. They dominate the market.
We can thus say that the Oppo K1 is a market-dominant smartphone and will surely flourish in the Indian smartphone market for sure.
