On the 4^th day of the Pro Kabaddi League 2018, U Mumba made a strong comeback to beat Jaipur Pink Panthers with a score chart of 39-32. It was a disappointing first game for Jaipur Pink Panthers as they squandered a healthy first-half advantage. U Mumba has defeated Jaipur Pink Panthers in 6 of their 12 encounters in Pro Kabaddi League and Jaipur have defeated U Mumba 5 times, with 1 tie between the two. Their last 5 encounters in Pro Kabaddi League have all ended with a point difference of less than 7. Jaipur came out on top to win the first Pro Kabaddi League title. Kabaddi Icon and Pink Panther’s captain Anup Kumar had a quiet match as he scored just four points in today’s match and Deepak Hooda too disappointed with just two points. The first half was a story of U Mumba’s attack versus Jaipur Pink Panther’s defense.
U Mumba took the opening point of the game and Anup Kumar started the raid for Jaipur next. Deepak Hooda got another point for Jaipur to put them on lead. Dominating the game, Jaipur Pink Panthers got another point with a terrific tackle on Abhishek Singh. Jaipur Pink Panthers lost their review but still got 2 points. Bonus points were picked up by Rohit Baliyan when Jaipur Pink Panthers were leading with 3 points. The scoreboard showed equal points when Fazal Atrachali of U Mumba with another remarkable tackle and an excellent hold got a point for his side and Siddharth Desai also took a point next on a do-or-die raid and leveled the score chart to 25-25. Anup Kumar got down Fazal Atrachali and sent him on the bench with a successful raid which was the biggest point of the match. In the last five minutes, U Mumba scored 12 points as compared to Pink Panther’s 2. The match ended with 39-32 in favor of Mumbai.
The second match of the day between Tamil Thalaivas and Bengaluru bulls was won by Bengaluru bulls with 48-37. The next matches of the Pro Kabaddi League 2018 will be held between UP Yoddha and Patna Pirates and the second match of the day will be held between Tamil Thalaivas and Bengal Warriors.
