Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni finally scored an unbeaten 52-run knock against South Africa in the 2nd T20 international played at Centurion on Wednesday night. Dhoni, who has been under criticism for his poor performances with the bat lately, put a 98-run partnership for the fourth wicket along with Manish Pandey (79), who was the team’s highest individual scorer. As the duo gave fans entertainment worth their money, in one of the rare instances, Dhoni was seen yelling at Pandey.

The incident happened in final over of India’s innings when Dhoni was at the crease. After the first ball, Dhoni was seen yelling at Pandey, asking him to focus towards him and not look elsewhere. Dhoni smashed a power-packed six off the next ball where he hammered a wide delivery over covers for a six. Watch the incident here:
India eventually lost the match by six wickets due to wicketkeeper-batsman Heinrich Klaasen, who once again displayed his skills with the bat during his 30-ball 69, where he smashed Indian bowlers all around the oark. Duminy, on the other hand, played a captain’s knock and he remained unbeaten towards the end to guide his side home. With 12 needed to win off last 10 balls, Duminy launched Jaydev Unadkat for two consecutive sixes over long-on for the winning runs.

The win was an elating one for South African fans, due their team’s history of buckling under pressure while chasing on numerous occasions in the past. The third T20 international, which is like a virtual final, will be played at Cape Town on February 24.
