DigiYatra the digital experience. The initiative is to develop a Digital experience for Air travelers through DigiYatra platform. The nodal agency is the Ministry of Civil Aviation. It is the vision of the PM Modi’s Digital India to transform the nation into a digitally empowered society. DigiYatra is basically an industry-led initiative co-ordinated by the Ministry in line.
Shri. P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, the union minister of civil aviation hoped that ‘DigiYatra’ initiative will ensure Indian Aviation position amongst the most innovative air networks in the world. It will also transform the flying experience for passengers.
Features

‘AirSewa’ will promote the real-time data. It brings together all the stakeholders at the common platform for grievance redressal to handle the customer. The initiative main objective is to bring together the entire industry to develop a digital ecosystem. It will enhance the paperless service experience and consistency at every point of their journey. so, DigiYatra the digital experience for air travelers in Indian Aviation
The core objective is to reduce queues at the airports and also bring efficiency to the boarding process. This will obviously help to acquire time-efficiency in the way to journey. It is beyond the Aadhar-link identity, to pass through the entire lifecycle of the travel. Also, it is optional, if somebody does not want to disclose their identity.

As per the guidelines of the supreme court, regarding the privacy issue, there will be separate provisions for the one who do not want to disclose his/her identity. Also, aviation has started to grow by 20% and there is a greater need to digitalize it to ease the process of boarding.
All aviation stakeholders- airlines, airport operators, security and immigration agencies, cab operators, retail establishment and others are working to devise digital standards. At last, DigiYatra the digital experience for air travelers in Indian Aviation.
