This is the movie set in Pune where a boy named Aakash is a blind pianist. He sometimes gives piano lessons to people living nearby him and sometimes plays at the bar. Basically, he is garnering enough money so that he can go to London. The protagonist of the movie has his problems for being blind but he has benefits as well. One thing that he himself highlights is that people let him in their lives easily which would not have been possible if he would have been a person who had no vision problem. Andhadhun movie is a film where Ayushmann Khurana has given his one of the best career performance.
Raadika Aapte as Sophie easily befriends this guy and has a nice role to play. Looks like the director of the flick Sriram Raghavan has successfully displayed the dichotomy of ‘blind subject’ in a way he wanted to. Andhadhun movie is that movie where all the preconceived notion of your will just shoo away. Whether you have got those notions after seeing the trailer or they are from your imagination, each and everything will be topsy-turvy. Moreover, all the questions that the audience has had after seeing the trailer will be answered in the flick totally and completely. But Andhadhun movie is not at all a murder mystery, it is actually a thriller and this type of thriller Indian audience have not come across.
Actress Tabu in the Andhadhun movie will demand your attention. When she is on-screen, she will just not let you see anything else. This is because she looks so attractive and her body language is so alluring that it is hard to focus on anything else when she is in the frame. Ayshmann has pulled off a really tough role. Changing actions from fast to slow and changing expressions even after having a pair of shades on his face from scared, to upset to many others in a second deserves a lot of applauds.
Andhadhun movie shows characters doing things in the ‘andhadhund’ manner as its title suggests. But even after that, the director remains in control and tells everything to the audience that why the characters are doing what they are doing. Yes, you will get a cleverly crafted flashback where you (as an audience) will be revealed why the murder took place, which the trailer has showed. In the end you will be given a revelation but still, you will be left wondering which is actually what the director wants the audience to feel. The movie really has layers and this is a kind of cinema which is rarely made in Bollywood movie industry.
