Wife of the late actor Raj Kapoor and mother of Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Ritu Kapoor Nanda, Rima Kapoor Jain, and Rajiv Kapoor died on Monday morning 4 A.M.

The oldest member of the family died on the morning of 1st October 2018 at the age of 87. The eldest member of the Kapoor family, Krishna Kapoor was a mother of 5 children and the grandmother to Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, Armaan Jain, Nikhil Nanda, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Natasha Nanda, and Aadar Jain.

You might not know but she was a woman of great courage and hope. She was very confident and didn’t lose hope when her husband Raj Kapoor died very early and she was solely responsible for her 5 kids.

The news broke through twitter like a fire. People were pretty sad and posted their condolences. Renowned actress  Raveena Tandon and businessman Suhel Seth sent their condolences to the family.

Later her son Randhir Kapoor issued a statement saying ” I regret to announce that I lost my mother early this morning. She died peacefully.”

Randhir Kapoor also confirmed that the last rites will be performed at Chembur Crematorium. The entire Bollywood is saddened by the loss of the eldest member of the Kapoor family and has been expressing the condolences to the entire family.
