Environment friendly bike RV400 is likely to be entered in Indian market by July, 2019

Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma has launched Revolt Intellicorp Pvt. Ltd. – a mobility venture. The company is likely to launch electric motorcycle Revolt RV400 in July 2019. India is home to the world second largest motorcycle market, wherein sale is led by rudimentary commuter bikes. And over 20 million two-wheelers sold in the year 2017- 18, this segment poses an immense danger to the environment. This, in turn, offers substantial opportunity to make it cleaner and more environmentally- tenable.

Revolt intellicorp is headquartered in Gurgaon. The company has already set up a manufacturing facility in Manesar, Haryana. The factory is spread over 100,000 square feet and currently has a production capacity of 120,000 units.

The RV400 is the first step towards providing sustainable, affordable mobility to every Indian home. The bike which comes with artificial intelligence features promises to give a mileage of 156 km on a single charge. The pre-booking for the bike starts from 25 June via the company website as well as Amazon.

 

Attracting features of RV400

 

  • Removable batteries with a portable charger, as well as the onboard charger will be provided in RV400, which can be used on any conventional 15A power socket to recharge in less than 4 hours. Revolt motors will also offer a network of battery swap locations where recharge batteries can be swapped out at a nominal cost.
  • RV400 will be equipped with embedded 4G LTE SIM which enables all internet and cloud-connected features on the electric bike.
  • RV400 will offer a choice of synthesized sound which can be selected from the Revolt app. This app will provide a long list of information and features including range, swap location, and satellite navigation.
  • RV400 will offer a choice of three riding modes- Eco, City, and Sport. The Revolt RV400 boasts of a range of 156 km (ARAI- certified) on a single charge in Eco mode. In City mode, the range is expected to be around 80- 90 km and Sport mode range will depend on riding style and terrain.

 

The Revolt RV400 has a fabulous design with LED lightening, upside down front forks, alloy wheels, and sculpted bodywork. And the price of RV400 is expected to be reasonable and affordable for everyone. With a new venture, Mr. Sharma is eyeing a double-digit market share of the over 21 million two-wheeler market in India.
