DU admissions 2019 will begin from tomorrow, 30th May for all Undergraduate courses. For Pg and M.Phil courses, the registration will begin starting June 3. DU has uploaded a link through which students can register for admission and the process will start from tomorrow. The DU administration has also released instructions regarding the list of documents which are required for admissions and registration on their official website du.ac.in.
The list of documents will hold much more importance than last year because there will be forensic checking of documents. DU in a statement said: “Uploaded documents will need to be presented in the colleges at the time of admission, for online and forensic verification. If any false records are detected, the applicant will be debarred from the University and its colleges and penal action will be taken against the applicant.”
Thus, you have to make sure that even by fault no false documents should be uploaded. Here is the list of documents required:
- Passport Size photo
- Scanned Signature of the candidate
- Self-Attested class 12 mark sheet
- Self-attested class 10 certificate
- SC/ST/PWD/CW/KM Certificate
- OBC Certificate
- EWS Certificate issued by SDM certifying the applicant can claim reservation under this category
- Self-Attested copy of Sports or ECA certificate
The DU Admissions 2019 Application forms are yet to be released and will only come out when the varsity takes the final call on the entrance exams. Students should know that more than 50,000 seats are up for grab including colleges like ST. Stephen, Hansraj, Lady Sri Ram College of Commerce, etc.
DU has also tied up with Central Board of Secondary Education and the National Level Educational Board to get direct access to class 12 results of students. As per the varsity, the admission process this year won’t be too time-consuming.
