Also at times, the excitement and spice you miss in your life, you experience it through these series. The suspense attached with some of these series also keeps you charged. However they should not act as a distraction and should always stay a mere source of relaxation. These programs also help you in building a friend circle. Similar interest in a particular series and then discussing each and every minor detail of it gives birth to a new friendship. Even I have various groups named ‘GOT group’, ‘friends group’ so on and so forth. Though it totally depends upon your interests like if you are into comedy or action or what so ever. Here I have tried to list a generalized view of some good but diverse TV series, which not only had good rating but are liked by all kinds of audiences. Game of Thrones: I personally consider it ‘baap’ of all TV series. A drama full of action, adventure, romance with super interesting turns. Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin’s series of fantasy novels, the first of which is A Game of Thrones. Set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, Game of Thrones has several plot lines and a large ensemble cast but centers on three primary story arcs. The first story arc centers on the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms and follows a web of alliances and conflicts among the dynastic noble families either vying to claim the throne or fighting for independence from the throne. It is indeed one of the 5 best English TV series.

Breaking bad: It is an American neo-western crime drama television series created and produced by Vince Gilligan. The series tells the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a struggling and depressed high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with lung cancer. Together with his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), White turns to a life of crime by producing and selling crystallized methamphetamine to secure his family’s financial future before he dies, while navigating the dangers of the criminal world. The title comes from the Southern colloquialism “breaking bad”, meaning to “raise hell” or turn toward crime. Breaking Bad is set and filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It received an amazing response from the audience. Hence it easily makes to the list of 5 best English TV series.

Sherlock: is a British crime drama television series based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes detective stories. Created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, it stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Doctor John Watson. Thirteen episodes have been produced, with four three-part series airing from 2010 to 2017, and a special episode that aired on 1 January 2016. The series is set in the present day, while the one-off special features a Victorian period fantasy resembling the original Holmes stories. Sherlock is produced by the British network BBC, along with Hartswood Films, with Moffat, Gatiss, Sue Vertue and Rebecca Eaton serving as executive producers. After watching this series I literally thought of becoming a detective just like many of you.

FRIENDS: Undoubtedly this is the best sitcom I have ever seen. The show revolves around six friends living in Manhattan, New York City. They depict the lives of six reckless adults living together, as they indulge in adventures which make their lives both troublesome and happening. It is indeed my all time favourite.

Big Bang Theory: is an American television sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom serve as executive producers on the series, along with Steven Molaro. It’s an American nerdy comedy series revolving around 4 scientists and their girlfriends. It is a very light and entertaining show.
