So there is a lot of buzz about ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ and people are waiting with bated breath for the release of the movie. The movie is about to hit theatres this coming Friday and so we have brought some interesting stuff from the lead actor’s recent interview.

In one of Shahid’s Kapoor interview, when he was asked what does he feel about his upcoming movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu, he laughs and says that ‘I am raaste ka ladka in the movie.’

That is really hilarious. Asking him further about it and he explains that he uses such words because he has is portraying a role of a boy next door who is full of fun and energy and lives a regular life which is fun of emotions, drama and other ups and downs.

In the same interview, Shajid told the media that he will be showing how an ordinary guy does extraordinary things when it comes to represent and fight for the people of his place.

The movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu is obviously about electricity problem and the trailer of the movie says it loudly. Watch the trailer below.

He also went on to tell the audience that his wife Misha was the one who gave an impetus to him to play this role. The ‘Padmavat’ actor laid emphasis on the fact that people living in Urban areas really ‘abuse electricity’ because they have no idea how big the issue it is in the small town.

It seems like the issues with electricity theft, the high bills, corrupt workers and many other things will be highlighted with the help of this flick.

Batti Gul Meter Chalu is going to hit screens on 21st September 2018. We hope that the film ricks on box office as the trailer and songs of the movie are already a hit!
