When Lord Rama returned back to Ayodhya after fourteen years and accepted the throne, there were instances where he asked ‘Sita’ to prove her chastity and purity in front of the whole state. This hurt ‘Sita’ deeply and she disappeared inside the ground ( after praying to mother earth). Lord Rama was deeply desponded when Sita left him but even after that he remained alone and did not get married to any other woman. Even after that Lord Ram who was born and brought up as a prince with luxuries of life did not hesitate to eat them. This was because he was a compassionate, humble and polite being.
