That Walk!
Sequence, showstopper, and front row are the three highlights which make an Indian fashion show all glam.
The game of fashion is ever-evolving and so are the standard of ramp shows in our country. With a diverse culture, there is no limit of inspiration and ideas when it comes to fashion in our country. We are so rich and so full of enthusiasm that now and then, designers come up with a completely new and refreshing collection.
There’s is not even the slightest doubt that clothes do the talking! Still, what makes a fashion show so damn attractive that the interest of viewers never fades. In India, there are three fashion ingredients that intensify the craze of a well-organized fashion show, and these namely are sequence, showstopper and front row!
Showstopper ‘N’ All
Sequence work was introduced in Indian clothing by Manish Malhotra. The shimmer that the cloth material carries has accentuated the party wear. Coming to showstopper, a show has to end on the best note so the designer started to engage famous Bollywood stars for the purpose. Little did he know that showstopper will become ‘a thing’ for the fashion show.
Next comes the front row. Yes, front row matters because bigwigs and the wealthy can afford luxury fashion so it is a quiet natural who all will occupy the front row in a big designer’s ramp show. The camera does not only focus on the models and clothes but it also turns towards the audience in a show. When a well-known person from glamorous and show business attends such events, the curiosity is peaked and more crowd is attracted. This happens mainly in India and that’s how the front row carries its own charm.
