On Monday Night Raw 22nd October, Roman Reigns vacates WWE championship. This was a rather sudden move as he was booked to defend his championship against Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar. He explained everything on Raw. First, he deeply apologised to everyone and told them that he lied. He promised to defend the title but he has failed. He has that he has had Leukemia, a very rare disease for over 11 years.

11 years back when the disease was found out in him, it exactly at the point ended his football career. Then, it was WWE who gave him the chance of his lifetime. He trained well, hard and made his body rock solid to give tough competition to the likes of Braun Strowman, Brock Lesnar and many more.

But now, the Leukemia has returned and he is forced to go back to his home, get treated and take care of his family. He also stated pretty confidently that in no way is this a retirement speech. He will be coming back, better than ever and take the title back.

Till then, he said goodbye to everyone. Backstage, Triple H and Roman Reigns hugged and Roman even cried. Before getting off stage for the final time, Roman, Seth and Dean came together and shook fists. Seth was seen crying.

It is really bad timing but one good thing came out of it. After a really long time, the WWE crowd was seen cheering Reigns and saying “Thank You Roman”

What is Leukemia?

Leukemia is a very rare disease registered by only a million people over the earth every year. In this, the White Blood Cells start to develop more rather than the Red Blood Cells. Our body need more Red Blood Cells than White Blood Cells and this leads to a bad thing. Our  organs can’t function well. Nothing can be done to prevent the disease.

Well, this is a really unfortunate event and we can only pray Roman gets well and returns soon
