The Realme 2 features a 6.2 inch 720×1520 pixels screen with a notch while the Redmi 6 pro features a 5.84 inch screen with 1080 x 2280 pixels.

The Realme 2 is powered by a 4230mAh. It measures 156.20 x 75.60 x 8.20 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 168.00 grams.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is powered by a 4000mAh non removable battery. It measures 149.33 x 71.68 x 8.75 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 178.00 grams.

The Realme 2 features a dual rear camera 13 + 2 megapixel which supports depth mode and a front facing camera of 8 megapixel. While the depth mode is not working pretty well, Realme has promised  to improve it in the next upgrade.

The Redmi 6 pro features a single rear camera of 13 megapixel while it has a front camera of just 5 megapixels.

Both the devices run on Android 8.1 and will soon get the Android Pie update.

The Realme 2 runs on snapdragon 450 while the Redmi 6 pro runs on snapdragon 625.

Several people have the misconception that the greater the processor number the better it is. It is just a myth. The Realme 2 even though has just a snapdragon 450  processor, combined with the battery capacity it gives an optimum battery life which can run upto a day and a half. It has been tested that 100% battery can run upto 8 hours of Pubg on the Realme 2.

The Realme 2 comes with a diamond pattern which gives it a premium smartphone look while the Redmi 6 pro has a simple glossy finish which gives it a typical Xiaomi phone look.

The main competition is the price. The price of Realme 2’s 3Gb + 32 Gb version costs Rs 8,990 which can be purchased at a discount of 10% from the HDFC debit cards.

The Redmi 6 pro costs Rs 9,999 for its base version of 3Gb + 32 Gb version.

Verdict

The comparison speaks for itself. The Realme 2 not only has somewhat better features than the Redmi 6 pro but also is a cheaper one to buy. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 pro in our opinion is a little costlier as it was released after the Realme 2. Xiaomi could have had cut off some price off the product to spice things more up. But the thing is, at a level both phones are a really best buy for people looking for budget mobiles in which Realme 2 takes a higher advantage.
