3) ‘Sarat Manjoor Hai’ from Lagaan

The expression on Amir Khan’s face showing great zest and accepting the challenge for cricket match from a ‘firangi’ guy ( who at that time was ruling the country) is just unforgettable.  This dialogue which made India proud and the scene shows that a simple farmer’s son is not going to give his self-respect away, no matter who is on the opposite side.

4) ‘Joote ki talli kitni bhi moti ho sarkaar, ghisat jaroor hai’ from Lagaan

This is one of the most heart-touching dialogues from the film Lagaan. In this scene, a wealthy British officer thrashes a poor Indian peasant saying ‘tum saala gulaam log hamari jooti ki niche hi rahega’. After getting thrashed the peasant replies with a broken heart saying ‘Joote ki talli kitni bhi moti ho sarkaar, ghisat jaroor hai’.The literal meaning of this line is that no matter how much you are powerful, God keeps a record of every injustice, reminding him that his unfair and cruel behavior on poor peasants will not last forever.

5) ‘Hindustaan zindabaad tha, zindabaad hai, aur zindabaad raheha’ from Gadar

This dialogue will remain one of the most popular dialogues that made India proud forever. Sunny Deol with anger, enthusiasm, zest and proud sloganeered Hindustan Zindabad in Pakistan among all the crowd without any fear. The dialogue highlighted the fact that Indians cannot tolerate anyone putting their country down, no matter where they are!
