This broadband service will help in making a roadmap for the development of Indian villages. IIT have started this campaigning on the pattern of Digital India program. IITs will adopt 25 villages. First five villages will connect with the Wi-Fi network in the first phase of this project. IIT has collaborated with the United States of Americas’ Information Technology Company Computer Science Corporation.
After starting cheapest internet facility for Indian villagers, this internet service will help in various sectors of villages like the improvement of water level, home based income, better cost on production, agriculture, health, and education. When cheapest internet facility for Indian villagers will start, a door of development will open for Indian villages. It will also fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India program. IITs’ team will educate the village people every day and create a database of daily habits of villagers. Ministry of Science and Technology has given green signal to this project.
Indian villages will get high-speed internet facility according to cheapest internet facility for Indian villagers. IITs appointed company will use broadband for connecting villages with internet services in the first phase of the cheapest internet facility for Indian villagers. After setting up Wi-Fi, the entire village will be Wi-Fi enabled zone. Villagers will connect with the main computer via their mobile. IITs will also educate villagers on their mobile phones. IIT director Professor Abhay Karandikar said, Indian villagers are paying Rs 3000 monthly for internet services, after implementing cheapest internet facility for Indian villagers, they will only pay RS. 100.
IIT Kanpur has started a big preparation for cheapest internet facility for Indian villagers. IITK will establish TV white space group system in its campus. USA, Great Britain, Japan, and Singapore are the countries that have TV white space group system. Tata trust will help in this project. Villages will get more benefits from implementing this noble project. These benefits will be:
