Lenovo after a very well received launch of their new smartphones have now launched the Lenovo S5 pro in China. The phone is very premium and will complete with many smartphones especially in India. Let’s take a look at its specifications.

Specifications

The Lenovo S5 pro has a 6.18 inch full hd+ screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels. It comes with 6Gb of Ram and 64 Gb of storage. It has the new snapdragon 636 which is a very fast processor and runs on Android Oreo 8.1. It has AI face unlock and fingerprint sensor. It has a dual rear camera system with 20megapixels + 12 megapixels. It has a dual front facing AI cameras of 20 + 12 megapixels.

Also the face unlock is infrared which is a good quality if compared with the price at which the phone is marked. The phone comes with a 3500 Mah battery under the hood with an 18W fast charger attached to it. It comes with type C Usb cable charging which is a good thing.

Price

It has just been released in China for now but the price if converted in Indian rupees will amount to Rs13,700 or approximately 14000Rs. Well, this is certainly some achievement. The Lenovo company is taking competition directly with the likes of Realme and Xiaomi.

Opinion

First with the Lenovo K9 which competes with Redmi Y2, Realme 2 and now the Lenovo S5 pro which competes with a range of smartphones like Redmi Note 5 pro, Realme 2 pro, Realme 1 and many other smartphones in the under 15k market.

They have done a fantastic job in terms of spec qualities. One thing the Lenovo company lacks is providing regular and constant updates to their smartphones. They just leave it at whatever it is. If the new smartphones of Lenovo could change the scenario then certainly the competition would be worth watching.
