After the people reviewed the Samsung A7 with 3 cameras pretty well, Samsung has released the Samsung Galaxy A9 now with 4 cameras to make it one and the only smartphone in the world with 4 rear cameras. Here’s a look at its specifications.
Specifications
- It has a 6.30-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
- It features the android 8.1 oreo.
- It runs on the Snapdragon 660SoC.
- It comes in 2 Ram and storage variants: 6Gb Ram and 128 Gb storage and 8Gb Ram and 256Gb storage.
- It features 4 rear cameras. One is the 8-megapixel wide angle sensor with 120 degrees. The next is a 10-megapixel camera with 2x zoom. Below are 24 megapixel and a 5-megapixel camera and down with it is an LED flash.
- It also has a 24-megapixel front facing the camera with a flash.
- It has a 3800 Mah battery.
- It has both a fingerprint as well as a front face unlock.
Price
The pricing of Samsung A9 in the launch at Kuala Lumpur was Rs 51,999 but seeing the great competition in the Indian market and that the 660 snapdragon is available at Rs13,990 in Realme 2 pro, Samsung will not be able to price it the same in the Indian market.
Release date
The phone’s release date in India is not confirmed but as per some reports, it will be in November’s end.
Opinion
Samsung has recently been doing a fine job with their smartphones. If the A9 is unveiled above 50000Rs, the phone would be a joke.
Although the phone has a great metallic look and 3D glass finish and many other cool camera features, only if Samsung had got in it the 845 processor, they could have very easily converted it into a flagship mobile and it would have sold like hotcakes at the Rs 50000 price range.
Still, the price is an important factor and it will determine if the phone will excel or lose to the intense competition in the market.
