Qualcomm comes with a new processor:-

Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 came up just months back but it is still the powerful flagship processor which offers great performance. This next generation of flagship processor is already making rounds on the internet, Snapdragon 865. The processor with the codename “Snapdragon 8250” will have many improvements over its predecessor. It will have increased battery life and support for the next generation connectivity for example 5G.

The processor will come with flagship devices in the year 2020. According to the reports, the processor will be available in two different variants. One with the standard platform and an optional 5G modem and other with an integrated 5G solution. The chip with an integrated 5G solution will bring a sort of relief to the manufacturers.

It will free up some space in the device allowing manufacturers to add some extra feature like a larger battery or a headphone jack which is surprisingly called a feature now. Even in 2020, the 5G connectivity will not make a huge deal in many countries so the two variants of the Snapdragon 865 will allow manufacturers to plan and price their products accordingly.

This next generation Snapdragon 865 Processor will now come with both sub-6.0GHz and with 5G connectivity. Which will bring a new Wave to smartphone technology?
