The gaming industry is ever-evolving. The sheer amount of content it spews out on a daily basis is quite frankly overwhelming. It’s not always possible to keep track of every great game we come across. So, here we are, to help you dig out some of the old gems- classic games that are stuck on dusty cupboards.
- Minecraft – Minecraft is still quite large currently, especially after it got a huge boost from the biggest independent YouTuber, Pewdiepie. But some have abandoned it due to the poorly aging graphics. But it is truly a gem among gems.
- Fallout 3- After the disappointment that was Fallout 76(for those who are not aware, the game does not have 75 parts before this), it would be quite poetic to revisit the masterpiece that was Bethesda’s magnum opus. This classic is what perhaps shaped a lot of modern games, and it is not just Skyrim with guns.
- Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion – Before there was the Dovahkiin(Dragonborn), there was the world of Oblivion. Though it has not aged very well, the millions of mods out there make the possibilities limitless.
- Bioshock – This game is a manifestation of masterful artistry. It is a work that inspires awe, fear, and intrigue all at once. A must try for anyone who calls themselves a gamer.
- Dark Souls – This one is for all you masochists out there. Just kidding. This is a really easy game. Very easy to get into and a must play for any RPG – action fan. There is only one thing you must remember – always level up ‘resistance’.
- Portal 2- Something for the brainstormers out there. Valve’s Portal 2 is a masterpiece that blends dark humour and puzzle- platformer with a balance that can only be called perfect.
