Netflix has entered the Indian market by producing a T.V. series named sacred games and a movie named Lust stories. While the movie was rated average the new crime based T.V. series Sacred games has just made its name into one of the best T.V. series ever made in India and also overall the world. It stars Nawazuddin Siddique as a mafia don Ganesh Gaitonde who is famous for killing 158 people as a record, Saif Ali Khan as a local cop Sartaj Singh who gets a call from the gangster Ganesh Gaitonde and Radhika Apte as a Raw Agent Anjali Mathur Here’s why people are loving the 8 episode thriller.

(1) It keeps you on Edge
From the immediate beginning, we see immense action taking place where we see a dog thrown from the top of a massive building and a mysterious murder of a woman. Sacred Games in its every episode, introduces bizarre incidents and mysteries in its every episode along with the clues to solve it.
Sacred Games has left many questions unanswered and due to this people have already started forming their own hypothesis about the end(which is a different topic).
In this series, you never know when a major character might get killed thus there is always uncertainty in the viewer’s minds as to whether a certain character makes it to the end or not.
(2) Unpredictable/ Develops Suspense
One thing that makes Sacred games really unique is the unpredictability of the unfolding of events. You can never guess what is gonna happen, although if you have read the book then the case is different as the series is an adaption of the novel Sacred Games by Vikram Chandra.
Just when you think the characters are settling down, getting comfortable there comes another death. Thus it is also named as the Indian Narcos by many.
(3) Spectacular Performance
The acting of Nawazuddin Siddiqui as always is marvellous and adds more fun. The best performance I think is given by Saif Ali Khan who just fits into the role of a local cop Sartaj Singh who has just gotten divorced with his wife and has gained weight because of the divorce.
The performance given by all other subsequent actors was really original and were able to give to us audiences all emotions we can witness in a T.V. series.
(4) First Indian T.V. series produced by netflix
This is the first time an Indian T.V series has made an appearance on Netflix and none would disagree to the fact that Netflix produces the best T.V. series all over the world. Thus those who are crazy fans of Netflix shouldn’t be missing such an experience.
(5) Politics at its best
Sacred games pinpoint the dark happenings behind all the smooth-talking politician’s minds. Isn’t it true that every day there is a person found mysteriously dead, no murderer is found. Who commits all these crimes. Sacred games not only displays a fictional world but many of the instances it shows are from the real world.
Thus here we go. I have watched the whole series and I will recommend each and every person reading this article or not to watch Sacred Games and expect more quality content in the future.
