One thing which favors Huawei is that it contains a stylus in the box involved in its cost while ipad’s Apple pen has to be purchased separately. The tablet’s screen features ClariVu 5.0 enhancement technology, while its quad-speaker setup is certified by the audio specialists at Harmon Kardon. It also has a fingerprint sensor too.

Mediapad M5 lite Price

The price of this tablet as a whole is 299$. It is released in the US only. Huawei has not released the M tablet series in India and don’t get your hopes any high that they will in near future.

Opinion

If you are looking for a tablet with a stylus go for it. If you are looking for a tablet for gaming purpose don’t go for it. Although ,it can run some games smoothly, high end games like Asphalt and Pubg will lag on the device due to the 659 kirin processor. The ipad contains the Apple A11 bionic chip which can run any smartphone game as smoothly as possible. Thus puting in the extra 30$ would be a good choice if you want a gaming tablet device. What are your views on the Mediapad M5 lite? Feel free to express!

Reasons why Apple lost its position to Huawei and why they don’t care about it?

Earlier this week it was reported that Apple has now lost its position in the sales number of Smartphone brand. It was Huawei that has beaten the company. It is like being a tiger and still be beaten by a deer. Well, the most shocking thing is that they lost the 2nd position even after their expensive i-phone X became the best selling i-phone out of all i-phones in the series. In this blog, we are going to discuss Apple losing its spot to Huawei.

How did this happen?

Apple’s market share declined to 12.1 per cent as iPhone sales remained flat, while Huawei surged ahead capturing 15.8 per cent of the market, according to the latest IDC data. Huawei sold 54.2 million handsets, registering a growth of 41 percent over 2017.

IDC indicates that Honor (Huawei’s sub-brand) phones are “a key driver of growth for the Chinese tech giant”. These devices accounted for nearly two-thirds of Huawei’s growth this quarter. Over four million Honor phone was shipped outside China.

Samsung, meanwhile, continues to lead global smartphone shipments with a 21-per cent market share. Chinese handset-makers Xiaomi and Oppo complete the top five with shares of 9.3 per cent and 8.6 per cent respectively.

Even though Samsung leads the market, its sales dropped more than 10 per cent to 71.5 million handsets, allowing Huawei to narrow the divide between No 1 and 2.

Apple loses position

Another reason that Apple has lost its position is as they just bring one phone in a year while Huawei along with their sub-brand honour easily launch 3-4 mobile phones per year. Not only that, they make sure not to overprice their phones and make them have a budget price. Likewise to Huawei’s phone beats Apple. This year, the company even managed to make a dent on Samsung’s mighty Galaxy S9 sales with the P20 Pro which features three cameras at its rear and an outstanding camera performance.

Why Apple doesn’t care?

Well, you might be wondering how Apple must have responded to them losing their brand position to Huawei. Well, they don’t care. Apple is likely going to care little if it loses its marketplace position to Huawei. This is because ultimately Apple ends up making significantly more profit than Huawei which is what matters the most. Apple single-handedly accounts for 90 per cent of the profit generated by the smartphone market which is perhaps what other smartphone companies are lusting after the most.
